I used to smoke 1 or 2 cigarette a day since last 1.5 years but I stopped since 19th January because I got very serious throat irritation for which I consulted general physician on 25th and he suggested me some antibiotics for 5 days after which my throat was fine but I had chest irritation and dry cough for which I was very much worried so I visited Pulmonologist on 31th jan and he examined my chest x-ray and throat and suggested me Acetylcysteine 600 and Pentop 40 for GERD! But after finishing the course I still had little chest irrigation and little dry cough at time but today since morning I am feeling pinching kind of pain in my right side of throat while swallowing and also on ear at times. And I am very much worried because it's affecting my studies. Can somebody suggest me some good medication or home remedy. I am very much afraid of any kind of cancer so I've permanently stopped smoking now and shifted to my hometown from delhi as pollution was affteing my health too. Pls help
