Technique:
Doppler Scrotal US Scan:
Ultrasound examination of the scrotum, using a high-frequency linear array transducer.
Finding:
Scrotal US scan shows normal echotexture of both testes with normal contour and vascularity.
Right testis measures 41 x 3.0 cm. Left testis measures 4.01 x 2.23 cm.
Right spermatic cord is enlarged in size and shows evidence of inflammation.
Pampiniform plexus vessels are dilated measuring up to 2.3 mm.
Valsalva maneuver is negative.
Right epididymis is enlarged and shows heterogenous texture suggestive of inflammation. Left is normal.
Right inguinoscrotal hernia is also seen. Suggested clinical correlation.
No hydrocele is seen.
Scrotal skin is normal.
Impression:
Right Funiculitis +Epididymitis.
Right Inguinoscrotal Hernia. Suggested Clinical Correlation.
