Right Ear pain
Wife has pain in right ear ...went to ent specialist doctor denying any sinus problem and said it may be joint pain so advice some medicine and test. Xray dental opg, esr and vitamin d3. Pls suggest your opinion about this problem and also suggest if xray opg is safe during this covid-19 times.

I think x-ray opg is being requested to rule out any Temporomandibular joint problem that might be leading to pain in front of ear and radiating to jaw. If the pain is not severe and very discomforting then warm compression over joint area plus Tab zerodol MR ( twice daily for 3 days) should help.
