I went fro swimming yesterday evening and from the time I came out of the pool my right ear is completely blocked. I am able to hear little only from my right ear and I have a sensation of blockage in the right ear.

You might have developed impacted wax inside your ear canal which usually swells up on entry of water causing significant symptoms of hearing loss. Treatment is its removal.
