Dear sir, My father got accident yesterday after examined doctor said right hand side ribs are broken 4 week bedrest he prescribed. Is it normally will recover by bedrest. Please advise.

Rib fractures heal by itself.It's just painful in 1st week. Rest for 1 week only.he can roam around no need for bed rest .no need for prolong rest. Have painkillers for a week. Deep breathing exercises are important. Don't worry he'll recover fully.
