My dad recently taken RA factor test which indicates 480. His fingers and hands are swollen and is barely able to walk properly. His condition deteriorate every day. Recently, he developed a swelling near his elbow though there's no pain associated with it but the swelling never got reduced. It looks like a lump (round shaped)

this is typical fulminant rheumatoid arthritis. Needs urgent intervention and consultation with a rheumatologist. Would need to start with synthetic and biological Disease modifying medications and other immuno-modulator drugs for control of pathology. This is probably not the right platform for an open ended advise regarding such a disease as it would require life long follow ups even after the disease goes into remission phase.
