Retest of Covid RT PCR test
I, 33 yrs old male, lost my taste & smell on 8th April and tested positive on 13th April. On the same day, my parents (60+ age) were also found +ve. Parents are nearly asymptomatic. I had loss of taste and smell, weakness & mild throat irritation for initial 2-3 days. At present, All symptoms have subsided except loss of taste and smell. We consulted a doctor and taking all the prescribed medicines like Doxy cap 100, Ivermecit 12 mg, crocin, azax, Zincovit, etc. I have 2 questions 1. Is RT PCR Retest Really required? If yes, when? 2. When can we get ourselves discharge from home isolation and resume our social life? Please specify the date.

No need for retest. You can mix in the family after 10 days of initial symptoms. Government allows outdoor visit after 17 days
