I'm a PCOS patient and I'm familiar with the acne problem. I take a lot of care of my skin.
But still there is a continuous outburst of big boils like acne on my skin. When one heals the other one is ready to take a shape. And these are painful. I use Ahaglow S facewash. Kindly suggest how do I control this.

U can...But more specific medicine required..Acne or pimples... Due to hormonal changes..Oily skin causes it...Common in adolescent age...May occur in adults also.. Food like Oily foods, ice cream, chocolate and sweets increase it.. Treatment depends on the grade of pimples or acne..So, please consult me in my clinic or consult me by direct online consultation by sending photos as it's a must to see which grade of pimples or acne for accurate diagnosis and treatment

Are you on treatment for your PCOS? Between the 2nd to 5th day of your menstrual cycle get your S.FSH and S.LH blood test done along with USG (sonography) of your pelvis to check for ovarian cysts. The severity of acne dictates the choice of treatment. In the early grades of acne even the cream might suffice however in moderate to higher grades tablets also need to be taken. The treatment has to be continued for a few months otherwise the pimples would tend to return easily. Kindly do not self medicate without professional advice as that could further damage your skin. I practice in mumbai too so I would advice getting your tests done and meeting me for a consultation... . . Hope this is helpful.
