My grandmother who is a dementia patient has been prescribed qutan 25 mg at night and 12.5 mg in the day along with donep 10,Admenta 10,nexito 10 at night time only, however she didn't used to sleep in the past after taking it but from the past 10 days,she keeps sleeping day and night even ,we have reduced the dose to 12.5 mg at night ,even while feeding her or doing any activity, she is not conscious throughout the day and if we try to skip qutan, she has panic attacks which isn't controllable by anyone, please suggest what to do Blood pressure, diabetes, oxygen level everything is in normal range Also she is a bedridden patient from past 1 year Please suggest what should be done

Dementia is a condition where multiple factors play a role in the presentation . You have written she is not conscious which I interpret as disorientation. It is important to know whether it is a recent development . If she is in delirium reversal of sleep pattern is commonly seen. In any case better to avoid morning sedative medicines. It is important to consult a Psychiatrist for assessment and appropriate medications
