It is good if he take ayurvedic medicine before allopathic medicine.. second brahmi is good for brain health.
You can give him for 3 to 6 month regularly.
It will be better to take allopathic medicine 1st and an hour later, the ayurveda medicines. 72 yr old patient will have to take ayurvedic medicines for a few years with certain intervals in between as the case history goes for a10yr period
Next Steps
consult doctor for modifications of medicines
Health Tips
neuropsychiatric effects can be managed with change in present allopathic medicine only

Thank you for reaching out. Itâs great that youâre exploring Ayurveda to support your fatherâs long-term well-being. Here's how you can optimize his medication routine:
Nighttime Medication Timing
Ideally, your father can first take the allopathic medicines (Levetracetam and Cloba) as these are crucial for maintaining seizure control.
After an hour, he can take the Ayurvedic medicines. This ensures both systems work effectively without interference.
Duration of Ayurvedic Medicines
The Ayurvedic medicines youâve mentionedâBrahmi Vati Gold, Ashwagandha Arishta, Sarasvatarishta, and Shankhpushpiâare generally safe for long-term use when taken in recommended doses.
However, itâs best to review progress every 3-6 months with your Ayurvedic practitioner to adjust the treatment as needed based on his response.
Lifestyle Support
Encourage practices like Pranayama, meditation, and a Sattvik diet to complement the benefits of Ayurvedic medicines and help with neuropsychiatric symptoms.
Monitoring
Keep an eye on his behavior and side effects, and maintain regular follow-ups with both his neurologist and Ayurvedic doctor to ensure there are no contraindications.
By combining Ayurveda with modern medicine in a thoughtful manner, your father can experience holistic health benefits. Wishing him continued recovery and wellness.
