Hi Doctor, my vitamin b12 level was 167 when checked 3weeks ago since then i started taking methylcobalamine 500 mcg tablet as seen in attached image. But some of you told this is maintenance dose not adequate for recovering deficit. So my question is can i switch to nurokind od tablet 1500mcg for next 2 months or let me know any other best alternative. I also attached this tablet picture for proper verification.

For immediate response i would suggest you take neurobion im injection followed by mecofol 1500/10mcg for 2 weeks then after 2 weeks you can take 500mcg for a month
Best to consult if possible regarding diet habits and history
500 mcg is low (maintenance).
You can take Nurokind-OD 1500 mcg once daily for 6–8 weeks, then go back to 500 mcg.
Repeat B12 after 2–3 months. Consult doctor for follow-up.
You should switch to Nurokind-OD (1500 mcg) daily. This higher dose of Methylcobalamin is the therapeutic standard required to effectively recover from a deficit and address neurological symptoms like fatigue or tingling. I recommend taking this for at least 8–12 weeks before re-testing your levels.
Next Steps
Switch to the 1500 mcg tablet immediately. After 2 months of consistent use, repeat the B12 serum test to ensure you have reached the optimal range (above 400-500 pg/mL).
Health Tips
Take the tablet on an empty stomach or at least 30 minutes before a meal for better absorption. If you experience persistent numbness or weakness, we may need to consider a short course of B12 injections for faster recovery.
