Regarding Vaccinations
Hello,
My baby is 1 month old and my pediatric prescribed vaccination of Hepatitis b 2 on exactly the 1 month completion date and rest like DTap, Opav, Hib 1, Rota virus and Pneumococcal in the 6th week. I fail to understand as to why is even Hepatitis b 2 not prescribed in week 6, can I get this vaccination done along with the other vaccinations in week 6. Pls suggest!

There are 2 protocols of hepatitis B vaccine, you can follow any of these two. In 1st protocol you can give at birth, 1st month and at 6th month. In 2nd protocol, 3 doses as follows, at 6 weeks, 10 weeks and 14 weeks. You can follow any protocol. You can take second dose at 6th week also and switch to this protocol.
