Regarding temperature variation
I was covid positive on 15 march 2021. I was home quarantine.Today i am having mild tiredness. I checked my body temperature on forehead with infrared thermometer it shows 96.8 to 97.1. But when i checked my oral temperature with oral thermometer it shows 99.1 to 99.2. I don't have any other symptoms except mild tiredness / weakness. Spo2 is normal 97-98. I didn't sleep yesterday night as i was watching series. I want to know why there is variation in two thermometers. Whether i have fever? Chance of covid reinfection?

There is a temperature difference when you measure at peripheries. Oral temperature is usually 1-2* F more. Get enough rest, maintain hydration. Monitor your temperature 6 hourly. A recent infection usually builds up antibodies which can last upto three months. But there are still chances of infection. Monitor symptoms and get a rtpcr done if symptoms occur to verify your diagnosis.
