No need to worry at all. Rabies doesn't transmit like that with intact skin. No need for any vaccination.

If there’s no visible wound or scratch, there’s no need of vaccination.

Based on the incident you described, there is no rabies risk and no treatment is required.A brief touch of a puppy nails on your footwear, with no visible scratch, no break in the skin, and no bleeding, does not constitute a rabies exposure. Rabies transmission requires saliva from a rabid animal to enter broken skin or mucosa (eyes, mouth). Mere contact, brushing, or touching intact skin even if a dog jumps or its nails touch you cannot transmit rabies. There was no confirmed bite or scratch
No break in the skin
The contact was through flip-flops
The dog was a newborn puppy, which further lowers risk Additionally, you have already received anti-rabies vaccination (IM schedule: 0, 3, 7 days) in December 2024, which provides immunological memory. Even if there had been a minor exposure, previously vaccinated individuals would only ever need booster doses, not a full course but in this situation, even boosters are not indicated. There is no need for rabies vaccine, immunoglobulin, tests, or monitoring for this incident. The anxiety you are feeling is understandable, but medically speaking, this is a no-risk exposure.
Health Tips
You can safely continue your normal activities. If there is ever a clear bite, scratch with bleeding, or saliva contact with an open wound, then medical advice should be sought. Good luck!

No immediate rabies vaccine or treatment is needed if there is no skin break. Just wash the area with soap and water. If you later notice any cut, bleeding, or swelling, then consult a doctor for assessment.
