Regarding mucormycosis
I have heavy burning in my right eye and lil redness and feeling like something is piercing upper part of eye and morning when I wake up eye is stuck with sticky liquid is it mucormycosis ?I had covid 7 months back and treated with mild steriods my fasting sugar was 103 and hba1c of 5 and often when I look near light source it feels lightle foggy please find the pic I have power negative 7.5

Hi I would say that mucormycosis doesn't present with such clinical features as you described. Also mucormycosis is more common 1 month within covid. Also your sugar is pretty normal. This photo could suggest probably be a dry eyes  for which refresh tears 4 times a day would work. If your vision is foggy I would advise you to get your number checked. Also if you really are worried there is no harm in getting MRI PNS AND ORBIT  to rule out mucormycosis
