Regarding h.pylori contagious
Had h.pylori frm few years I guess.. now I have taken treatment for it.. today was the last antibiotic dose.. I have small 3 years old kid.. we have shared food many times in this years soo will my kid have h.pylori in his stomach?? Does he and my husband also needs treatment.. wt are the reinfection chances for me frm them .. pls someone answer pls

H.pylori is a common contaminant in our environment. Most of them have H.pylori in their stomach, however without any symptoms. It needs to be treated only when there are symptoms of Acid peptic disease or else no need of prophylactic evaluation and treatment
