Sir/ma'am
I had been operated by fistulectomy a year ago in anal region for fistula in ano . Dr also placed some Seton like thread in the tract and my treatment got over a year ago. I still feel there is some sort of small tunnel when I physically examine the anal opening area with my index finger . But doctor say nothing to worry as there is no pus discharge and no external opening.
I am worried if this happens to be remaining fistula, will it cause some life threatening situation such as turning into malignancy? Kindly guide whether i should change the doctor?.
