Regarding Covid Vaccination
Could someone please let me know the scientific reason behind the delay of covid vaccination to a patient after his covid recovery. At past instances, it was told to give vaccine after 4 weeks of covid recovery and now it is saying to wait 3 months from the date of covid recovery to take vaccine. Is this guidelines being modified due to shortage of vaccines or there is some real study behind it. Please advice me when someone can take covid vaccine after his covid recovery.

Reason for delaying 2nd dose is to give chance to our own natural antibody to show effectiveness against the virus. Our own Acquired immune response take time to build up & hence its been given time.

Vaccination is advised only after 6 weeks of covid. Because the natural antibodies will be already formed, so no need to take vaccine during that time and that antibodies for some may persist for 3 months also. So it is advised.
