Regarding covid 19
Hi,
My aunt got covid19 infection 1 month back and she recovered but again got in contact with a person having corona. Now she is again getting sore throat. Is she reinfected with covid19 virus again.
She is diabetic.please suggest.

Please check her antibody levels, since she has completed one month after her previous infection.
Rtpcr at this point, could be falsely positive as she is within 3 months time frame from her previous infection.
Since she is diabetic, the immunity in such patients is lower than general population.

This might be post covid syndrome which is normally seen in covid recovered patients but since your aunt is diabetic further information about the problem is required. No need for retesting.

Yes might be possible, if the antibodies feom the previous infection were not sufficient she might be re infcted
