Regarding breast feeding
Hi Doc, I have a 5 days old baby boy . I went through c section delivery on 20 Jan 2023. He is on similac formula milk and now my milk has started slowly slowly but he does not have interest in breast feeding . He is just crying a lot when am trying to do breast feeding . Any suggestion on this .

Drink lots of water and put baby to breast every 2 hours. Take help of breastfeeding nurse.

Please go to the hospital where you had your Caesarean. Ask one of the senior Staff Nurse to demonstrate to you how to put the baby to the breast. It is the faulty technique of breastfeeding which is making your baby averse to breastfeeding. This is the Commonest cause of babies not accepting breastfeeding.

Consultation required. U have to try for breastfeeding. It's not a easy task. Baby has to taught for breastfeeding
