Given your history: • Earlier: heavy gym + high protein intake • Now: stopped gym + protein supplements due to ligament tear • Result: noticeable weight loss over 1 year
Next Steps
• Assess: – How much weight lost (kg) over 1 year – Current diet intake • Basic screening (if not done): – CBC – Thyroid profile – LFT, KFT • If reports normal → focus on: – Gradual return to exercise (as ligament allows) – Adequate protein intake from diet
Health Tips
• Muscle memory helps → weight can be regained faster once training resumes • Prefer natural protein sources (eggs, paneer, dal, chicken, etc.) • Small frequent meals to regain weight • Physiotherapy for safe return to gym ⚠️ Red flags (seek evaluation): • Rapid unexplained weight loss • Loss of appetite • Persistent weakness ⸻

This is likely weight loss due to reduced muscle mass and calorie intake after stopping gym and protein supplements. Sudden lifestyle change leads to muscle loss (catabolism), not necessarily disease if appetite and health are otherwise normal.
Next Steps
-If significant unexplained loss (>10% body weight), consider further evaluation Do -CBC -TSH (thyroid) -LFT, RFT -Blood sugar (FBS/HbA1c)
Health Tips
-Gradual return to exercise after ligament recovery -High protein balanced diet is key to regain muscle -Avoid crash diets or irregular eating -Monitor weight trend monthly, not daily -Consult if weight loss continues despite normal diet contact me anytime on practo for further consultation

Get his blood sugarthyroid profile done. Sudden stopping of a physical exercise,  reduction in protein intake can lead to loss of muscle mass. Increase proteins in his diet. He should do natural exercise daily like walking. Yoga, etc.
