Bat bite is painless and also its include in 3rd  bite category. So better if you go for complete scheduled vaccination. Don't take risk ,because dog and cat bite is common, but bat bite is rare and also more dangerous.

Bat contact on neck is treated as potential exposure even without visible marks, but since you were previously vaccinated, risk is already reduced. For safety, take 2 booster doses of anti rabies vaccine Day 0 & 3. Please book a consultation I’ll guide you step by step with the exact schedule.

Any direct contact with a bat, especially on the neck area where marks are difficult to see, must be treated as a potential Category II or III exposure. Bats have tiny, needle-like teeth that can transmit the Rabies virus without leaving a visible wound or causing pain. Since you were previously vaccinated in December 2024, you are already partially protected, but a 'Re-exposure Protocol' is medically mandatory
Next Steps
Day 0 & Day 3 Boosters: Get one dose of the Rabies vaccine immediately (Day 0) and the second dose on Day 3. This is the globally accepted standard for previously immunized individuals. Wound Site Hygiene: Even if no mark is visible, wash your neck area thoroughly with soap and running water for 15 minutes. Tetanus Booster: If your last Tetanus shot was more than 6 months to 1 year ago, take a TT booster along with your Day 0 dose. Monitor Symptoms: While Rabies is the priority, also watch for any local skin irritation or swelling on the neck.
