Reg laser treatment
I have a fair skin and thin dark black facial hair on my face . Recently I went for my first sitting for laser hair removal treatment . The session was okay but I feel that the intensity of the laser beam was less.. as initially the receptionist told me that I need to come for  at least 6 laser session. Now after first session they said at least 10 sessions needed to have an effective results and told that the new hair may come thick..I feel that they have decreased the laser intensity just to increase the laser sittings session so that they can charge me heavy amount..I have also read somewhere that if low intense laser beam be used for hair removal, the hair and skin become resistant to laser and may result in thick facial hair...pl suggest me what should I do

Laser works best on light skin colour and dark coarse hair combination. Face requires more sessions than body. Sometimes fine hair on face are difficult to treat and the latest technology with dual wavelength of 810+755nm is ideally suited for it. Face needs 6-8 sessions plus 2 sessions maintaince (a few months apart to treatment any resistant roots.) No. of sessions are customised depending skin/hair type and any underlying triggers for hair growth e.g. Hormonal problem. Procedure is absolutely comfortable with slightly warm or prick sensation but no downtime. Look for USFDA approved machine and must be done by trained then therapist under Dermatologist's supervision. So instead of "discounts and offers" look at experience and expertise of treating dermatologist and technology being used.
