Reg air travel for infants
Hi doc,
I have one query reg air travel of 2.5 hours with my 2.5 months old baby. Could you please let me know if it's safe to travel by air with 2.5 months old baby. Can there be any issue to baby while landing and take off of plane. What precautions we need to take care to baby while traveling?

Yes, it's is safe to air travel with your 2.5 months old baby.
Get vaccination as per scheduled (IAP IMMUNIZATION)
IF YOUR BABY HAS COUGH COLD OR MILD EAR INFECTIONS, BABY MIGHT HAVE PROBLEM OR PAIN DUE TO CHANGE IN CABIN AIR PRESSURE.
BREASTFEEDING OR BOTTLE FEEDING DURING TAKE OFF AND LANDING WILL HELP IN REDUCING PAIN SYMPTOMS.
BABIES ARE MORE PRONE TO DEHYDRATION DURING LONG FLIGHT JOURNEY, GIVING REGULAR FEEDING WILL HELP IN MAINTAINING THE HYDRATION.
