Redness, thickening right buccal mucosa
My friend has redness and thickening in inner right side of buccal mucosa for almost 3 months. In right side, she had 3 right upper back tooth with metallic crown. Also below 2 right lower tooth also had mettalic crown and one amalgam filling at last bottom. Now dentist completely removed it some 3 weeks back. But still not able to see improvement. Sometimes irritation and no ulcer. The redness also varies (one day looks bright and one day less red). Can you please suggest what to do?

Hello, Since the redness has been present for a few months and has not completely improved yet, it would be better to reassess the area carefully. Fluctuation in redness can happen in many benign conditions, but proper evaluation is important before concluding anything. Kindly upload clear, well-focused close-up images of the affected area (in good lighting) so I can guide you more accurately.
