Red spots fatty liver
I have chronic fatty liver disease with grade 1. I am obese with 31.4 BMI, male, 42 years. I got red spots one month back. After losing 7 kg of fat, these spots got disappeared. Recently last sunday, i made a mistake of consuming high carbohydrate food that is mutton biryani. After two days these spots appearing again. Are these spots related to cirrhosis? But in scanning liver is shown as fatty with grade 1. Please advise how can i assess true state of my liver. Last sgot and sgpt were 29 and 22. Regards.

the one spot that I can see in the image that you have attached with your post, that does not seem to be related with the liver problem. Without examination of the skin condition and knowing the extent of involvement.. along with this more information on ongoing medication or history of previous/current skin/systemic illness it is not possible to comment on the treatment that would suit you best. Also regarding advise on the assessment of your liver I would recommend meeting a gastroenterologist who would be more qualified to address this issue effectively. Please get the problem checked thoroughly by visiting a qualified dermatologist or you can send images online through private online consult for a better assessment of the problem. Hope this is helpful.
