My daughter is 2 years 9 months. When she was 1 year and 10 months she got her first UTI. Then she got it again after 4 months then 6 months. And she got it again now. Colony count says it's escherichia coli 10^5cf u/ml
I have got her ultrasound done when she got it first time and it was all clear. Her stool is slightly hard and she has habit of holding urine. Even if I would take her to toilet she won't do and would want to finish it as soon as possible every time. But can that cause UTI so many times. What could be the reason? I m so worried please help
Thank u

She needs a detailed evaluation for knowing the cause of recurrent UTI in a child. Constipation and holding urine both cam contribute but we need look for underlying causes. Pls visit a nephrologist for further investigations and treatment
