Rashes on skin
I shifted 20days back to a different place. After 2,3 days i got some itching and then it went bad and i had red rashes on my arms, hands, legs and foot . I went to a physician and he diagnosed me with chicken pox and gave me some medicines and calamil solution for the rashes. But it discovered that i didnt have chicken pox .So i stopped applying calamil solution and then again my rashes and itching came back. I even changed my mattress but it all went in vain. Now,i just want to know is it any kind of allergic reaction like bed bugs or insect bites or any serious medical condition. FYI i dont have any rash or itching besides my hands and legs . Waiting for your reply Regards Sushant Gupta

You are probably suffering from what Dermatologist call urticaria. Common causes are food allergy, infection or drugs taken for some condition. It presents with itching resulting in formation of red rashes which we call hives or wheals. Although in most cases cause remains unknown in spite of a thorough search. It can be symptomatically treated with antihistamines so that you do not get any new hives. The treatment should be prolonged until it resolves which usually takes 1 to 6 months. Please contact me through online consult option for further details and treatment.
