My son had rashes on his left arm 5 days back. There were 3 raised bumps to start with. I took him to a Dermatologist 3 days back. She checked the rash with some Scope and also did a needle prick to check for any fluid. No fluid was found. Hence, she ruled out viral infection like Molluscum and decided to treat it as an insect bite and prescribed HHFudic cream to be applied twice a day. We have been applying the cream for 3 days now. But 3 or 4 more spots have come up now and they seem to be crusting over with a brownish appearance. Pictures attached for reference. No spots are seen on face or torso. Dermatologist has advised continuing with HHFudic for 2 more days. Seeking a second opinion. Please advice.
