I took full course of rabies vaccine in September. And took 2 booster doses of rabies vaccine on 27/12/25 and 30/12/25. On 5th January 2026 a dog licked me on face. Do I have to take the vaccine again? And, how long the vaccine provides protection?

Ya surely.anything on face cud spread infection fast.mostly u shud take vaccine if the dog is rabid.consult nearby hospital for further information and vaccine schedule for the same.

In human the rabies vaccine is effective at least for 10 yrs.but booster dose is required after 3 to 5 years.
