Hello. Very Good morning.  I'm Dr.Yogesh Kr Sharma. What kind of doctor are you consulting. There is a schedule antirabies vaccination as follows: Day 0, 3, 14, 28 & the 90 th dose is optional, its up to you, you want to have it or not have it. Earlier it was Day 0,3,7,14,28,  but now 7 th day dose is no longer given. Wash the wound thoroughlly with any soap for 2-5 minutes and apply ointment soframycin on it & kept the wound open. If the Dog is alive for more than ten days after a close watch, then further vaccination is no more required. This is the Whole Plan. The symptoms from you are suffering has nothing to with vaccination, cause nobody reported to me except fever & redness at the injection site,  I mean left deltoid region. Kindly consult another doctor for such symptoms as soon as possible. Regards.
