Rabies intradermal hiv risk
Hello Doctor, I took rabies intradermal vaccine. After vaccination little vaccine with red dot blood came out. After vaccination the guy who gave medicine rub and touch my vaccination site. I asked there is little bleb so another guy touched my puncture site also. Now i am worried they giving many vaccines to many patients their hand surely contaminated with virus. How much of risk of hiv, also rabies and other diseases? Please answer i am very much worried.

Please don’t worry — there is NO risk of HIV or rabies transmission in this situation. HIV does not spread by touch or casual contact Transmission requires infected blood entering bloodstream (e.g., shared needles) Rabies vaccine is safe; minor bleeding after injection is common Healthcare workers touching the site does not transmit infections

Hii Hiv usually spread via using same syringe in multiple patient. So need to worry
Next Steps
Better take rabies intramuscular injection 0, 3, 7, 14, 28 days total 5 dose it's more protection compare to intradermal injection

Don't worry HIV won't spread just touching the skin It will spread infected syringes and through blood transfusion So don't worry

Hello First of all dont panic … Regarding your concern HIV virus doesn’t spread with touching though it spread with contact of infectious syringe or blood products or body fluids .. Of course sepsis need to be maintained while giving the vaccine..
