Two weeks back i fed a stray cat by pouring a glass of milk in cats bowl.. im not sure if the glass touched cats bowl or some droplets spilled on the glass.. my daughter exactly after an hour picked the glass from the table and put it in mouth.. what are the possibilities of rabies transmission if the cat is rabid.. she ahs had 4 doses of rabies vaccine in october 2017.. does she need booster dose now? It is exactly 5 months since she received her 4 dose of rabies vaccine in october.. i have visited two pediatricians and insisted them for booster doses but both declined saying boosters are not required within a year and even if there was an exposure the previous vaccine would provide enough immunity... are they correct or ahe would require booster vaccine?
