I have received arv in March and in July I have scratched by a cat with blood .I was advised not to repeat arv but consult for immunoglobulin. But what is it and what is the cause for taking is it related with wound healing

If the scratch was on face, neck, hand then immunoglobulin may be needed . Otherwise just a booster dose of vaccine should suffice. You can also get your antibody titres done to be further sure whether anything is required or not.
