Hello doctor ,
Yesterday I went out wearing my slip on formal leather shoes with my socks on. While driving I felt a paining sensation on my toe so I came back home to check my toe ... It was injured.I exactly don't know what has caused it.
I fear something like cat or dog could have bit me because of low visibility of what is there on ground during night time.
I don't know whether any animals teeth could penetrate a formal shoe this much to cause a injury. I also don't know whether I might have rubbed my toe somewhere hard to cause a friction injury ... My skin seemed to be peeled off.
I already got vaccinated against rabies ( 4 shots ) on October 2023 its been around 9+ months. If this looks like a bite do I need to a vaccine against rabies again ? I'm really worried .
I have attached the pictures of my wound below kindly please take a look to diagnose what it looks like ... Thanks a lot
