Mirtaz has higher propensity to increase blood sugar compared to quetiapine. Quetiapine is prescribed when indicated for many people with diabetes. Good luck

If you’re only taking for sleep, there are other medications also for sleep disorders. Also quetiapine can increase blood sugar but not that much if your sugar levels are increased you should talk to your doctor for anti diabetic medication titration. For sleep try sleep hygiene and exercise also some better medicine available.
Next Steps
Consult with psychiatrist

Not commonly like mirtaz but it can. You can get tested for sugar levels or consult your doctor to prescribe something else.
