Query about ESR
My mother age 47 has been suffering from fever for last 9 days. Her Haemoglobin 12.1gm/dL , Total WBC count 6600/cu.mm . Neutrophils 50 percent, lymphocytes 43 percent , Eosinophils 05 percent , monocytes 02 percent , basophil 00 percent. But ESR(Westergren):1hr       30mm in 1 hr reading.  My question is her ESR very high ??? That is why her fever is not going  ???
