Puss and swelling around ear piercing

Asked for Female, 7 Years

In my 7 yr old daughter there is lotnof puss and swallowing near ear piercing. I will clean Puss by putting some hot Compress, but do we also need to take some antibiotics ? Kindly suggest antibiotics for rapid healing , it all started beacuse of tight earings

Swelling, inflammation and pus at the site of ear piercing is usually because of allergy to the material of ear stud. You may need to remove the ear stud and apply antibiotic ointment for few days followed by change in the material of ear stud
