Pus coming from gum breast feeding

Asked for Female, 28 Years

I have gum swelling since 1 week and last 2 days I observed pus is coming from my gums and I'm post delivery of 4 months, I don't know is it an infection or not, made and appointment with dentist but till that time little worried as I'm breastfeeding with type 2 diabetes
