Pulmonary embloism
I get shortness of breath while climbing stairs and 6 months earlier I coughed some blood and now I got heart palpitations so I have done pft,xray,echo,ecg all were normal. So I want to ask can this be a pulmonary embloism.please reply asap

I would advice you to have a general check up , consult a medicine specialist and a pulmonologist, you will need a Colour Doppler study , a 24 hrs Holter ,Thyroid profile

Hello, This is unlikely a pulmonary embolism. If at all it is then its not a massive embolism as your echo is normal. I think you should consult a physician for further advice. Take care. Stay safe.

Less likely or echocardiogram may have picked up. More important that breathless needs evaluation .
