For both types of Diabetes protien does nt effect directly rather this is always needed for growth, development, immunity. I advice go for protien by your normal home made foods. even at home u will get plenty of protien sources like milk,chana, paner, fish, egg.plant sources like soya,pulses, sprouts,also curd,yogurts very helpful. Be aware if sugar, oil,spices, additional cereal intake.U need to v very well balanced Diet.
