Prominent fetal left renal pelvis
My wife having now 24 weeks pregnancy today we went for the scan ultrasound ( TIFFA ) after that we got the results like this prominent fetal left renal pelvis ( AP diameter measuring 4 to 5mm ) . We are worried about that matter please suggest us what it is exactly and what to do?

Isolated renal pelvis not not significant. However keep the paediatrician informed at delivery, they will do the post delivery follow up if needed..

Isolated findings of this is not to be worried but keep a watch .do an ultrasound after 4-6 weeks to follow this

Isolated increased Renal pelvis diameter has no significance and it resolves spontaneously in most of the cases. Report is all normal. Enjoy ur pregnancy.
