Prolonged menstruation
I have menstruation for 11 days,. I consulted the doctor,. I was given duphaston to stop the menstruation, , The doctor gave  duphaston for 5 days twice daily. ,after 5 days,I stopped taking duphaston, on the 7th day,my menstruation came back again,. What should I do to stop my menstruation? Should I take duphaston continuously?

At 42 years 11 days menstruation may cause tiredness and low hemoglobin. Usually duphaston is not given but 20 days of progesterone is required so that you complete this cycle. I suggest you to get a scan done to see why you have so much bleed then treat it according to the reports.

Get an ultrasound done and some blood tests are also required. So visit near by gynaecologist

If  u r  having  prolonged   bleeding   u  should  take  medication   for   2  to  3 weeks  start  crina  cr 10mg   daily  one  for  15  days
