Prolonged light bleeding with PCOS
Hello Doctor, I am 21 years old and have a history of ovarian cysts (PCOS). My last period started on 20th November and I have had light, watery bleeding with occasional blood clots continuously since then. Morning bleeding is usually worse  which makes it uncomfortable. During the day, bleeding is lighter and more manageable. I want to temporarily stop or control this bleeding until 26th January because I have to travel and want to go clean and comfortably. Could you please advise: 1. Which hormonal medicine/tablet is appropriate for my situation? 2. The safe dose and duration I should take it for temporary control. 3. Any side effects or precautions I should be aware of?
