Pressure headache
Hi,
For past 2 years i checked my bp in hospital 4,5 times and few times it was around 150 to 160 but doctor dint gave any pressure tablets rather they given anxiety tablets. But now for past 1 month i have terrible headache. And i took few tablets given by neurologist as well but its not gng. Is it due to blood pressure?

High blood pressure at this age shouldn't be ignored. Anxiety also can trigger. Please look out for family history of high BP. Headache can be due to high BP or any other cause.

I do understand your concern. You need to monitor your blood pressure on a regular basis. Usually at this age people do not have high Blood pressure unless it's pathological. If you are getting a persistent high readings,

There are many causes for headache, Needed detailed clinical history of present illness and past history of similar episodes to rule out the cause.
Also I would like to know any other associated symptoms.
If it is due to blood pressure you need to keep eye on daily BP values.

The BP readings you have mentioned here is high.
Ideally you should monitor and record your BP for a week.
Use a upper arm digital bp apparatus,sit upright position with uncrossed legs and at the level of your heart .take 2 readings in the morning and evening , don't consider the first reading.Measure your BP atleast 4days in week and record the readings.If the readings are above 135/85 on different days, elevated BP is confirmed.
Your age is 26 years and if your bp remains high ,you should consult with a cardiologist to determine the cause of your BP.
As far as the headache is concerned,it could be due to many reasons elevated BP is one of the causes.
Any recent onset of headache should be properly evaluated

Yes it can be a pressure headache.
Having any cold or sinus pain, if yes, we can plan for antihistamines.
Otherwise we can go with bp meds if it's more than 150.
