Pregnecy and folic acid
Doctor, dr Iam 32 years and its my 3rd pregnecyI have a concern regarding my medication. my dr  prescribed T- Fompy, but the pharmacy gave me Folovit 5mg  instead, i I. Am  noticed it only now..which I have been taking for the past 4 months (including 2 months before my pregnancy). Now that I am in my 10th week, I am worried if 5mg is too high a dose for me. Could this high dosage cause any harm to the baby? Should I continue with Folovit 5mg or switch back to lowerdose? How much dose actualy needed.???

Folvite contains folic acid ....vit b9.....all vitamin b   are water soluble and rapidly excreted in urine....so there is no risk of overdose...so be assured on that front. Secondly you can either take folvite or fompy.....both are good...fompy is a combination of 3 vitamin b..
