Pregnant having fever
History : 10 weeks pregnant. Having UTI infection. Fever: 100-102 F TesT undergone: Urine Test: 3 Times. Each time increase in pus and epithial cells. Recent test shows 25 pus and 12 epithial cells Widal Test: twice. Negative Urine culture and senstivity: Nothing found. Test done while taking antibiotic Blood test: Normal Thyroid Test: increase in thyroid (6.5). Patient never had thyroid before. Prescription given by doctor is Eltroxin 50 mg. Once a day empty stomach. Description : Patient is having fever from last one month. Despite taking antibiotics and fever medicine there is no improvement in fever. Ceftum 250 mg and Dolo 500 is prescribed by doctor. Consulted Urologist who prescribed antibiotic injection. However this was not allowed by gynaecologist. Consulted General physician MD Medicine who also suggested to continue prescription given by gynaecologist. It is worried that Infection might not spread to kidneys. Kindly suggest.

I think you should do an ultrasound lower abdomen to rule out pyelonephrotis..in the meanwhile start iv antibiotics..fever in pregnancy is not good..

Take novefos one sachet with a glass of water at bedtime . it is a new drug which eradicates 97% of urinary pathogens , safe in pregnancy . take lots of fluids and a urinary alkiniser.
