Pregnancy Thyroid
My thyroid is 4.25. As per report, it should ne between 0.25 to 5.5. But Doctor said you have pregnancy thyroid. What are the parameters to check this?? I don't want to have Thyrox 25 as recommended by doctor without clarifying the same. Can anyone help plz?

In pregnancy it should be much lesser. Its better to take thyroid medn for the benefit of you and the baby There is no harm in taking After delivery you can stop it if its normal

During pregnancy the cutoff value of TSH is lower.. like in 1st trimester TSH should be below or equal to 2.5 & in 2nd & 3rd trimester it should be less than or equal to 3
