Pregnancy Stiches - My Stiches Is Paining After Delivery For One

My stiches is paining after delivery for one month, now my doctor removed all the threads and one scar is clearly open . Is that okay and how much it will take to heal . Doctor suggests me some antibiotics and pain killer .
