Hi,
My wife is 8 weeks pregnant. Her doctor advised her to take both Folic Acid & Iron tablets after 3 months of pregnancy, not before that. But I heard from an another doctor, that Folic Acid should be given from the 1st day. I'm confused. Please help.

Folic acid should be taken preconceptionaly. Folic acid should be started from the day pregnancy is detected. Iron tablet to be taken after 3 rd month
